Tigers are one of the most endangered animals on earth. 
Project tiger was created in 1973 to help to protect the tigers.

When adults, they may reach seven feet long and weigh from 300 to 420 pounds!
 A Mother tiger gives birth to three, or four cubs at a time.
She protects them , feeds them, and teaches them hunt and survive in the wild.

Pigs and deer allows a solitary tiger to eat as much as 100 pounds.
And a tiger sometimes goes for weeks without eating.
Tiger must eat about 70 large prey animals in a year.

A tiger can creep silently to within 20 feet of a deer or buffalo.
A tiger can leap 10 yards with out being heard.
It must get close to its prey before attacking.
