These books, written by Rick Riordan, are about a demigod( half god half mortal) named Percy Jackson. The five books take you on Percy’s many adventures. The main characters include Percy, Annabeth, Grover and Tyson. Here are the 5 books.

This is the first book in the series. In it, Percy discovers his true father, Poseidon. He is on a race to return a lightning bolt to Zeus. On the way he will encounter many dangers that await him. It is the perfect introduction to the series.

 

Percy and his friends are on a quest to find the Golden Fleece, the only magic item strong enough to save Camp Half Blood when Thalia’s tree is poisoned. During this journey they must sail through the sea of monsters. Dangerous and full of adventure, this is an very exciting book.

The books in the Percy Jackson series only improve as the series continues. This third book starts off when Grover asks Percy to come help him as he has discovered two more half bloods. Annabeth is kidnapped by monsters and Percy, with the help of his friends set off to rescue her. This is one of the most thrilling books yet! 

This last book in the series is sure to keep you reading until it is finished! Percy’s 16th birthday is coming soon which means that he will have to make the decision that will either save or destroy Olympus. Filled with action, danger and just a bit of romance, this book is the perfect ending to the series!

This book is set mostly in the labyrinth created by Daedalus. Annabeth and Percy find an entrance to the Labyrinth in Camp Half Blood while playing a game. If Luke finds this entrance, Camp Half Blood will be in grave danger. Percy is determined to stop Luke before he finds out. They must find Daedalus before it is too late. Full of suspense and danger, this book starts to introduce the evil that lurks about.
